Tools and custom functions

Tools are actions the agent can take mid-call. Turn on built-ins, or add a custom function that calls your API.

Built-in tools

Search the Built-in Tools list and add what the agent needs. Selected tools appear at the top with the name the model sees.

Tool	What it does
End Call	Ends the call gracefully once the conversation is complete.
Transfer Call	Hands the call to another number.
Warm Transfer	Transfers with the agent staying on the line during the handoff.
Check Availability, Book, Reschedule, Cancel Appointment (Google)	Works against a Google Calendar connected under Integrations.
Check Availability, Book Appointment (Cal.com)	Works against Cal.com connected under Integrations.

Custom function

Press Add Custom Function. Give it a name, a description the model reads to decide when to call it, the URL, and a JSON schema for its parameters. Keep responses short: the agent speaks the result.
